Did You Know You Can Place MLS#s Behind Your Domain Names For Easy Reference

You can now place a listing's MLS number directly behind your domain name separated by a forward slash (/). For example (as long as this listing stays active and/or has the same mls #) if you click on www.ourvashon.com/27017270 then you will pull up this particular listing.

This is a great way to share a listing that includes your domain name as well, either in written advertising or adding the link to an email.

More Traffic To Your Website

Is your site not receiving the amount of visitors that you might like? Maybe folks do not know your site it there. If it is not showing modestly well in the search engines, and if you are not promoting offline, then chances are your potential visitors have not found you.

What can be done? Well, many things. For starters, a site needs to be optimized for the search engines (SEO) and the search engines need to be aware that you are there so that they can crawl and index your site.

Additionally, your site must stand on its own as far as content is concerned. Is it pertinent? Is it quality? Is it unique and not mimicking verbiage from another site?

And, over time it is important to develop links from other sites that point to your site. This is not an easy task, but I have found that if you are truly providing good, quality content that is valuable, other sites will link to you as a resource.

Visit this article, and view some strategies you can use to promote your website.
